Lil Yachty and G Herbo To Perform at Liacouras Center on Apr 21, 2023 for Temple University’s Owchella

PHILADELPHIA – MARCH 23, 2023 – On Friday Apr 21, 2023 at 7:00 pm, Grammy-nominated Lil Yachty will perform for Temple University’s Owchella at the Liacouras Center featuring G Herbo. Owchella is an annual concert catered towards Temple students during “Springfest.”

Lil Yachty released his new album, Let’s Start Here, on January 27, 2023, through Motown Records and Quality Control Music. This is Yachty’s first studio album since Lil Boat 3 (2020). Within two years of scoring his first platinum single in 2016, he followed with two Top Ten albums with Teenage Emotions (2017) and Lil Boat 2 (2018). In 2017 he received a Grammy nomination for DRAM's "Broccoli."

G Herbo also released new music, in late 2022, with the album Survivor's Remorse. After quietly grinding for years out of his native Chicago, G Herbo established himself not only as a platinum-selling, chart-topping phenomenon but also as a staunch mental health advocate and proponent for change in the black community.

Both artists, with new albums, ongoing hits, and excellent stage presence, make them fitting artists for Temple University’s campus. The ticket price for the concert will be $25 for students and $35 for their guests
