Who We Are

The Liacouras Center, managed by OVG360, is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose venue located on the campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. The venue is a full-service sports and entertainment arena featuring Temple University Men’s and Women’s Basketball, along with a variety of concerts, family shows, meetings, banquets, and more! The largest indoor public assembly venue north of City Hall in Philadelphia at 340,000 sq. ft., formerly known as the Apollo of Temple, The Liacouras Center was renamed and dedicated to former Temple University President, Peter J. Liacouras, on February 13, 2000.

Accompanying the 10,000-seat main arena, fourteen (14) concession stands dot the main concourse and offer attendees a wide variety of food and beverage options to assist in their enjoyment of the event. If higher-end food options and entertainment is what you seek, take in an event from one of ten (10) private executive suites. Suites at The Liacouras Center feature a private function space (including a restroom), exclusive catering options for your group of ten (10) or more, and in-arena seating so that you may take in the whole event experience! A four-story, 1,200-space connected parking garage on the 15th Street side of the venue provides visitors access to the facility without ever having to venture outside. Located on Broad Street, the venue is conveniently located close to all major roadways and public transportation lines.

While major sporting and concert events can steal the spotlight, there are several other varieties of events that make The Liacouras Center a prime space to gather your team for an event or special occasion. Featuring dual end-wall LED corner displays, a four-sided center hung LED scoreboard (4mm), and ribbons boards that wrap the fascia 360 degrees, the arena can be converted into the perfect setting to host a wide variety of hospitality events such as conferences, meetings, banquets, and trainings! Auxiliary spaces such as the Fox-Gittis Room, Main Lobby, Courtside Club, and the Al Shrier Media Room are available for primary function space, break-outs, or dining rooms. The Fox-Gittis Room can accommodate up to 150 people seated and can be catered by our professional, in-house food and beverage staff. The Liacouras Center food and beverage staff is committed to uncompromised quality so that you and your guests may enjoy your event!
