AS I AM CONTINUES DOMINATION OF ALBUM AND SINGLES CHARTS
(New York, NY) – Enjoying one of the most phenomenally successful years of her career as a performer, producer and songwriter, Keys, who has won nine Grammys and has sold over 40 million albums and singles worldwide, will embark on the Alicia Keys As I Am Tour presented by Lexus. The buzz for the U.S. tour started when Keys recently announced her European tour, which begins on February 25th and makes visits to cities including Glasgow, Copenhagen, Zurich, Paris and Milan. The U.S. and Canadian portion of tour kicks off on April 19th in Hampton, VA (see below for complete tour dates).
Iconic designer Giorgio Armani has added his creative style to the Alicia Keys As I Am tour by designing a custom wardrobe comprising three key looks inspired by both the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani collections.
The tour, which is one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year, will build upon the unparalleled success of Keys’ latest album, As I Am, and continue her reign as one of the most prolific performers and songwriters of this generation.
The Alicia Keys As I Am Tour comes to the Liacouras Center on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 10am.
